# Core contributors

> The core contributors to Intention Labs.

Intention is built by a small team. Each core contributor has spent years on one hard part of a market: how orders match, how risk is contained, how identity is proven, how capital moves, and how a venue works for its users.

## Eric

**Research and market microstructure**

* Wrote [Permissionless](https://permissionless.fi), a book on market microstructure and on-chain markets.
* Ran one of the first pre-registered studies of how matching behaves when AI agents do most of the trading. Intention is designed around that question.
* Holds a PhD.

## Alex

**Compliance · serial entrepreneur**

* Serial founder. Built two companies in digital identity, and one was acquired by a major industry group.
* Designed zero-knowledge KYC: a user proves they meet compliance rules without revealing who they are.
* Engineer by training. MSc, TU Munich.

## Bridget

**Capital markets**

* About 15 years moving institutional capital, at asset managers and global banks.
* Scaled an asset management business more than tenfold in three years.
* Early to tokenization. MSc, Peking University.

## Andy

**Risk**

* Ran market, credit, and liquidity risk for one of the world's largest crypto exchanges: real-time monitoring, stress tests, and model validation.
* Before that, a risk quant at two global banks.
* PhD, ETH Zurich.

**Product**

* Led platform product at a top-tier crypto exchange: unified accounts, custody, KYC, and compliance.
* Before that, built onboarding and fiat-to-on-chain infrastructure at a licensed exchange.
