# Legal

Intention's legal documents are published on the main site and apply to the protocol, the exchange, and this documentation.

## Restricted jurisdictions

There is no separate restricted-jurisdictions page. Eligibility and the territories from which access is not permitted are defined **within the [Terms of use](https://www.intention.xyz/terms-of-use)**, and the [Privacy policy](https://www.intention.xyz/privacy-policy) covers the data handling that accompanies them.

Read those documents rather than any summary. A condensed list here would be a second version of a legal position that can only have one, and the one that governs is the one on the main site.

## What this documentation is not

This site describes how the protocol behaves — how orders match, how margin is computed, what a fee costs. It is technical documentation, not legal advice, and it does not modify the terms above.

Two things follow that are worth stating plainly:

**Nothing here is investment advice.** Descriptions of leverage, funding, or vault returns explain mechanics. They are not recommendations, and they do not assess whether any of it is suitable for you.

**Where this site and the terms disagree, the terms govern.** Documentation is maintained continuously and can be wrong or out of date. The legal documents are the authoritative statement of your relationship with Intention.
