A public testnet for Intention is planned. It will let traders, integrators, and validator operators exercise the full trading stack — wallet connect, deposits, order placement, mark pricing, liquidations, and the API surface — against a non-production network with no real economic value at stake.
The public testnet is not yet open. The information below describes the planned access model. URLs, faucet limits, supported wallets, and reset cadence will be confirmed at launch.

What the testnet will provide

  • A live deployment of IntentionKernel, IntentionBFT, the trading engine, and a representative set of perpetual markets.
  • A test bridge endpoint for moving placeholder collateral onto the chain.
  • Public RPC endpoints, a streaming Verifiable Execution Stream feed, and the planned REST and WebSocket APIs.
  • A faucet for distributing testnet collateral to verified addresses.

Faucet access

Faucet requests will be rate-limited per address and per request source. Bulk requests for integration testing — for example, by market makers, aggregators, or wallet developers — will be handled separately to avoid starving individual users. To request faucet access, email testnet@intention.xyz with:
  • The address you want funded.
  • A short description of what you intend to test.
  • An estimate of how much testnet collateral you need.

Resets

The testnet may be reset periodically as the protocol evolves. Resets are announced in advance from intention.xyz and the project’s social channels. Anything held on the testnet is destroyed at reset; do not treat testnet balances as persistent.

Reporting issues

Bugs, divergences, or unexpected behavior found on the testnet should be reported via the channels described in Bug bounty. Testnet findings are eligible for the bounty program subject to the program rules.
Once the testnet is live, this page will be updated with the network ID, RPC endpoints, faucet UI, and a getting-started checklist.
